Drum beats are the basis or fundament of music. You couldn’t drum to a song fully with just fills. However, you can rock out to a piece of music only playing beats. Being not only a beginner, we all have done this probably.

So learning cool sounding drum beats is great fun and an essential skill for learning this music instrument at the same time.
